We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Critiques
The figure herself has a strong presence, not overly imposing, but defiant nonetheless. She seems prepared and capable, but what exactly is she prepared for? The costuming I'm assuming is an homage to Sephiroth (although I'm not an FF7 fan myself).
The technique is terrific, she's got a great figure and the monochrome gives the image just that much more punch to it. Great use of shadows and the dark sky makes the environment just that much more imposing.
Overall a great piece.
