Lily the Slayer by Karbo Lily the Slayer by Karbo
A portrait of Lily, the slightly psychotic fairy ^^ ( [link] )

She has been very little used up until now but she is definitely going to have her role later in the story :)

Lately I'm really trying to work more on the faces of my characters, to make them more lively and expressive.
And yes, I have watched higurashi no naku koro ni recently XD
"Uso da !"

That is not a bad thing. That is such a sad thing to see when an animator doesn't focus on expression on the character's face.. or when they overdo it. Either way, this is a good change. Wish more artists would do this. Best of luck and beware the hatchet-wielding Oni. ;)

Out of curiousity, how long would it take for Lily to make anything shes made contact with into plant life?

it depends of the thing she touches I think. For wooden surface it would be a matter of seconds for example ^^

I just realized she's basically insaulting everyone by "biting her tumb"...was that intentional?

back in chaskspearian time...the gester of putting your thumb in your mouth behind your theeth in the way lily is doing in the picture is the equivalent to someone giving the "finger" in modern days...it was called "Biting your thumb"
