*** Warning this picture contains giantess VORE. If Vore offends you, don't enlarge it ***

A group of giant harpies playing a game of dropping and catching a prey while in flight. Whatever happens, it's not going to end well for that poor guy. At least the final landing will probably be relatively soft :P
I guess there is some irony in the fact it's thanksgiving day today XP

As for some recent pictures, I really tried to use unusual and less safe angles in order to get more dynamism. I am quite happy with how this one turned out :3
And for those who were wondering, no, none of these harpies are named ^^

And so I am here again. Gracing these works with my unneeded words. But why? Well, you're a hero of mine, Grand Sire. To not study your works would be heinous and lazy on my part. Besides, seeing you put out more work, just makes me want to dive into my own. So, let's begin.

This piece is simply gorgeous. The angle, the harpies, and the colors make this piece truly shine. But let's get into specifics.

Now, for the past few drawings we've noticed that you've been using very difficult angles, most likely culminating with this one here, giving us the most extreme angle of perspective. It's border lining a bird's eye view, no pun intended. The way the bodies taper down gives off the perspective effect greatly. Though, I personally think that this piece is feels a little too cluttered design-wise. I don't have anything against, complicated designs, but this feels a bit much with just a few too many harpies. I counted five harpies when I started this, then I noticed a sixth during this paragraph. In either case, the drawing's use of top-down perspective is great, and it'll only get better.

The colors here are wonderfully executed. In most drawings that aren't landscapes, shades of colors are used to give off depth. To make the eye read something as farther away or as an accent, but in here the shades are utilized to make the figure pop out. The top most maw has a great foreground effect. And the tints used on the harpies farther down make the darker ones in front really stand out. And I think each harpy has it's own color scheme for itself to attach to, though the dominant color here seems to be green. You're a really good artist to study as far as color usage goes. It's very clever at times.

Now, this'll be the last time I'll mention it, because I know I'm not your instructor, and you're probably sick of me saying it, but , line variation. The first four harpies have the exact same lines about them. Not that it's bad, but on the two front most harpies, a slightly thicker line may have added just a bit more to the three dimensional effect. I swear this''l be the last time I mention it...maybe.

So, in conclusion, a great piece demonstrating the great use of perspective and effectively using dark colors to bring something out, as opposed to pulling it back in.

I hope to achieve this sort of skill as I go along. Yet to the master, I am only dirt beneath your boot. Keep on creating, Grand Sire.

Karbo, you never disappoint! This picture is phenomenal. Let's get started with this critique:

For Vision, I applaud you. You've done a great job visualizing this concept. And I can understand it--it's like watching birds fight for food in flight--just I like that you mentioned they're playing...that reveals their identities as Felaryan predators!

Very Original. I especially enjoy the overhead view of Felarya and its rivers in the background. And these harpies are ADORABLE! :3 I love how you characterized your characters. None of them are the same.

As far as technique goes, I can see you've incorporated your usual shading and lighting techniques. However, where is the light source? From the looks of it, it is near the center, since light is shining off of 3 harpies' breasts and midriffs, but for the harpy in the very front, her face is shaded where there should be light? Or maybe that's just me. Going back to characterization, I like how you use little details to make them unique and original. One of them has feather ears and feathers where her human part meets her bird part. Another is completely fleshy. They all have vibrant colors and extraordinary facial expressions. It's just <3

This is impacting. The impact is hidden in the irony of today being Thanksgiving, like you said. We are all thankful for you, Karbo!

For some odd reason I am reminded of the Harpy Ladies from Yugioh(haven't touched the cards or that series in a while...) but aside from that this is actually pretty cool :)

I never really don't tolerate harpys too well. I always end up having a long F bomb battle against them.
Six to one is so unfair, and how high up is he? "shit forgot my hanglider, were going in for aa landing!" At least its nice and sunny outside, too bad you cant enjoy the view *Cough! Damn harpys *cough!

I like any picture in which I need to contort my neck and head to strange angles to enjoy all the details XD The composition of this is very interesting! I thought at first it seemed a bit cluttered, but looking at it again the brown-haired harpy seemingly serves as a break in the landscape and divides the picture nicely. It also gives the picture quite a lively feel which, given the game, makes a lot of sense! As far as the concept goes I like it - given harpies have such a brutal reputation stemming from their language it's sweet to see them play a more friendly game like this :) The way you shade their plumage is great too! Nicely done :D
